Your screen dims. You breathe.
Your eyes thank you.
Lumora runs quietly in the background, counting down your work interval — 20 minutes by default (the 20-20-20 rule). You don't think about it until it's time.
When it's time, your screen fades to a calming dark overlay over 2 seconds — no jarring popups. A breathing animation and countdown guide you through the break.
Follow the 4-4-4 breathing cycle (inhale, hold, exhale) for 30 seconds. When it's over, the overlay fades away and you're back — refreshed and focused.
Built for people who spend long hours at screens and want a break reminder that actually feels good.
4-4-4 breathing cycle (inhale, hold, exhale) with visual animation. Two themes: Generative Particles or Breathing Orb.
Glassmorphism UI with soft lavender gradients, frosted glass panels, and Apple-grade typography. Feels like a wellness app, not a tech tool.
Light (30 min), Standard (20 min), or Intense (10 min) — or set custom work and break durations down to the second.
Automatically postpones breaks during fullscreen video, presentations, and video calls. Never interrupts when it shouldn't.
Optional gentle sound at break start and end. Subtle enough to not startle — just a whisper that it's time.
Daily break count, skip count, total break time, day streaks, and a weekly activity chart — all in a beautiful glass dashboard.
Not the right moment? Snooze for 5 minutes or skip entirely. Take a break early with one tap from the popup.
Choose between floating generative particles or a mesmerising breathing orb for your break overlay. Both animate with your breath.
No background network calls, no heavy dependencies. Uses Chrome alarms and idle APIs — near-zero impact on performance.
Lumora uses a Frosted Lavender glassmorphism design inspired by Apple Health and iOS Weather. Every surface is a frosted glass panel on a soft lavender gradient — because a wellness tool should look like one.
Lumora has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. Your break stats, preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage. Nothing ever leaves your browser — and you can delete everything by removing the extension.
